Gatwick drop-off charge rises to £10

Dropping passengers directly outside London Gatwick Airport's terminals is about to become considerably more expensive, with the airport confirming that its minimum drop-off charge will increase to £10 from January 2026.

The new fee will apply from 6 January 2026 and represents a £3 increase on the current £7 charge.

Drivers using Gatwick's designated terminal drop-off zones will pay £10 for up to 10 minutes, making even a very short stop outside the terminal significantly more expensive.

The increase continues a wider trend of rising vehicle access charges at London's airports and means passengers being driven to Gatwick will need to factor the additional cost into their journey from the beginning of next year.
