Frequently asked questions

Answers to the questions we're asked most often about booking, pricing and your journey. Can't find what you need? Get in touch.

What type of transfers do you specialise in?

We specialise in airport transfers, but we also provide a wide range of other private hire services. Whether you need a transfer to or from an airport, port, hotel, business address or another destination, we can arrange your journey.

Our fleet includes a range of vehicles to suit different numbers of passengers and luggage requirements.

For assistance with your journey, please call our 24-hour reservations line on 020 7434 3666.

Is it more expensive to book a car through you than to take a taxi from the airport?

Not necessarily. Pre-booking your transfer can often be considerably more economical than taking a taxi directly from the airport, while also giving you the convenience of having your journey arranged in advance.

We arrive very late at night or early in the morning. Will you still send a driver?

Yes. We operate a 24-hour service, so you can book a transfer regardless of your arrival time.

Where do I meet my driver after landing?

Your designated meeting point will be shown during the booking process and included in your booking confirmation.

For airport and port transfers, the meeting point is normally in the arrivals area or another clearly specified location.

What should I do if I cannot find my driver?

Please call our 24-hour helpdesk on 020 7434 3666, quoting your booking reference or your full name.

Our team will be happy to assist you.

What happens if my flight is delayed or arrives early?

We monitor scheduled flights and use the actual flight arrival information to coordinate your transfer.

If your flight is delayed or arrives earlier than scheduled, your driver will be informed and your collection time will be adjusted accordingly.

Will I still pay the pre-booked price if my flight is delayed?

Yes. A normal flight delay does not change your pre-booked transfer price.

We monitor your flight and arrange the driver’s arrival according to the actual landing time. Any applicable waiting-time charges are subject to the waiting time included with your booking.

Are your prices charged per vehicle or per passenger?

Our quoted prices are per vehicle, not per passenger, unless specifically stated otherwise.

Are your quoted prices fixed?

Yes. Your confirmed booking price is normally fixed.

Additional charges may apply in certain circumstances, such as waiting beyond the complimentary waiting period, diversions requested by the passenger, additional passengers or luggage where these require a larger vehicle, or a vehicle upgrade.

How can I pay?

We accept major Visa, Mastercard and American Express credit and debit cards.

For certain bookings, payment directly to the driver may also be available. Please check with our reservations team when making your booking.

When do I need to pay?

Payment is normally required in advance when making your booking.

For certain bookings, we may offer the option of paying the driver directly. Please contact us if you would like to discuss the available payment options.

Are there any additional costs on top of the quoted price?

Your booking confirmation will show the agreed price and any included services. Additional charges may apply in circumstances such as:

  • Waiting beyond the complimentary waiting period
  • Passenger-requested diversions
  • Additional passengers or luggage where these require a larger vehicle
  • Vehicle upgrades
  • Other services specifically requested after the original booking

Any applicable charges will be explained wherever possible before they are incurred.

What vehicles do you have in your fleet?

We operate a varied fleet to accommodate different passenger and luggage requirements.

Depending on your needs, vehicles may include saloon cars, MPVs, minibuses, coaches and executive vehicles.

You can view our available vehicle types in the Fleet section of our website.

How far in advance do I need to book?

We recommend booking as early as possible, particularly for airport transfers, large groups and journeys requiring a specific vehicle.

Ideally, we recommend booking at least 8–12 hours before your journey.

However, we can often accommodate last-minute bookings, subject to vehicle and driver availability. For urgent bookings, please call our 24-hour reservations line on 020 7434 3666.

Our flight is scheduled to land at 9:00 am. Can we book the car for 10:00 am?

Airport collection times are normally linked to your actual flight arrival time, rather than being booked as a fixed time.

When making your booking, you can specify how long after your flight’s actual landing time you would like to be collected. This allows additional time for immigration, baggage collection and other airport procedures.

The specified period is included in your booking and is not charged as waiting time.

Can I book my car by telephone rather than online?

Yes. In addition to our simple online booking process, you can speak to one of our reservations agents.

Please call our 24-hour reservations line on 020 7434 3666.

Can you provide child seats?

Yes. Child seats are available as an additional paid service and can be requested when making your booking. Please specify the number and type of child seats required so that we can make the necessary arrangements in advance.

Please note that child seats are not a legal requirement in taxis and private hire vehicles in the UK.

We will make every reasonable effort to ensure that the allocated vehicle has the requested child seat(s). However, our vehicles and drivers are normally allocated the day before the journey, and unforeseen circumstances can sometimes require a last-minute change of vehicle or driver. For example, a vehicle may break down, a driver may be delayed by traffic, or a previous journey may take longer than expected.

In such circumstances, we may not always be able to provide the requested child seat. If we are unable to provide a child seat that you have paid for, the additional charge for that seat will be refunded.

Please note that the refund applies to the child seat charge only and does not affect the agreed transfer fare.

Can I make a booking for a large group?

Yes. We can accommodate groups of 1–32 passengers and larger groups by arrangement.

For larger parties, please contact our reservations team so that we can recommend the most suitable combination of vehicles.

How can I cancel my booking?

Please contact our 24-hour helpdesk on 020 7434 3666 as soon as possible if you need to cancel your booking.

Cancellations may be subject to our cancellation terms and any applicable cancellation fee. Please refer to our Terms & Conditions for full details.

What should I do if my flight is cancelled?

Please contact us as soon as possible on 020 7434 3666 if your flight has been cancelled.

We monitor incoming flights, so we will normally be aware of a cancellation and will not dispatch the driver unnecessarily.

Where possible, your booking can be placed on hold and rearranged for your new travel date without a re-booking charge. Any applicable charges will depend on the circumstances and your booking terms.

Can I smoke in the car?

No. We operate a strict non-smoking policy in all our vehicles.

Smoking is prohibited in commercial vehicles used to carry members of the public in the UK.

Do you offer sightseeing tours?

Yes. We offer private sightseeing tours and chauffeur services.

Tours are generally charged by the hour, with the price depending on the vehicle selected and the duration of the tour.

Please contact our reservations team for further information and a quotation.
